Parties with a sea view inSitges
In Sitges we bring foam, K-Pop and birthdays at home to a town that dances early: for Santa Tecla, around a thousand children head out to the Matinal with their own dragons, giants and big-heads.
Sitges splits its Festa Major between two patron saints, Sant Bartomeu in August and Santa Tecla in September, and it is a Festa Patrimonial d'Interès Nacional. The children’s Matinal happens at dawn: it sets off at seven and at eight, and ends at La Fragata, by the sea.
For an audience that gets up early to dance, the K-Pop Tribute brings a different kind of music, with the stage open to anyone who wants to get up there. And when a summer neighbourhood party fills the street, Foam Party Plus brings three cannons.
The municipality stretches as far as Garraf and Les Botigues, almost in Castelldefels. For birthdays at home with the youngest ones, the Show Express: games, music and the birthday child’s name on everyone’s lips.
When is it party time here?

The children of the Matinal already know how to dance as a group. Here the routine is built by everyone together, with Rumi, Mira and Zoey: for schools, parent associations and local groups.

How long does it take us to get here?
We set off from Vilanova i la Geltrú, about 11 km from the centre of Sitges: a quarter of an hour by car. Garraf and Les Botigues are at the other end of the municipality, so the journey is longer; let us know when you ask for your quote.
What people ask us
Can we have foam in a square in Sitges?
The civic behaviour bylaw asks whoever organises an event in a public space to guarantee safety and leave it clean, and the Ajuntament can ask for a deposit or insurance. Foam is something to check with the town council first.
Do you get as far as Garraf and Les Botigues?
Yes. They are Sitges too, even if they sit at the other end of the municipality. Tell us the exact spot and we will work out the arrival time properly.
Do you do face painting for a Carnival float?
Yes. The Face Painting & Balloons corner paints the whole group before they set off, with a wristband to keep everyone’s turn and a made-to-measure design if the float is going as a matching set.
