In Ribes and Les Roquetes we bring Halloween shows, K-Pop and bouncy castles to a municipality with four festes majors and a bestiary of fire beasts all its own.
Sant Pere de Ribes is two villages with a single town council, Ribes and Les Roquetes, each with its winter festival and its summer festival. All around, residential estates that usually hold their own in August. For Sant Pau, the procession climbs to the hermitage among the vines, and the children have their own climb the Sunday before.
Children here grow up among dragons: the Drac de tres caps of Ribes, a three-headed dragon, the Dragona de les Roquetes and a Ball de Diables, the devils’ dance, that is over a hundred years old. With that sort of training, Monster Fever scares nobody, which is exactly the idea.
For birthdays, the K-Pop Show: they learn a routine, film it and go home with the video. And if the party is in the garden or in the estate’s communal area, the bouncy castles give four hours of bouncing.

How long does it take us to get here?
We set off from Vilanova i la Geltrú, about 7 km from the centre of Ribes: just over ten minutes by car. The same short journey takes us to Les Roquetes and the residential estates.

Do you need permission for a street event in Ribes?
Yes. The coexistence bylaw requires municipal permission for activities in public spaces, with safety and cleaning the responsibility of whoever organises. It is best to check well in advance.
Can you paint the Drac de tres caps or the Dragona?
Yes. Custom face-painting designs are done on request: tell us which one you want and we will have it ready before the party.
