The meeting is adjournedand the party begins
Festa Major, Carnival, Christmas: we bring shows, face painting and foam parties to towns in the Garraf, the Penedès, the Baix Llobregat, Barcelona and Tarragona. And since every council festivity starts long before, in a file on someone’s desk, our part of the file is already ready for you.
From Carnestoltesto Santa
Carnival
in February or March
For the children’s afternoon of Carnestoltes, Let the Carnival Begin!: challenges, routines and a costume catwalk with Cuca and the Cuquis, until the whole square is dancing. The Magic Parade is a street parade of characters, princesses, superheroes and Cuca, with routines on the move and stops for photos; it lasts as long as the route does. And Face Painting & Balloons paints the whole troupe, or the whole float, with one shared design, at a rate of one artist per twelve children an hour, and a wristband to save each turn.
Festa Major
whenever the patron saint says
For squares and large venues, Foam Party Plus: three cannons, two hundred people, its own dance-and-games show and the sound included. In The Magic Factory, Cuca dances with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto, and the whole square follows her through every routine; this one needs a roomy square. If your festival has a bestiary, giants or a symbol of its own, the face painting can carry it, because custom designs are made on request. And if you want foam and colour on the same afternoon, there is “The foam and colour afternoon”, which adds the Holi Show for big crowds.
Halloween and Castanyada
in late October
The Midnight Spell brings Cuca, Vex and Luna together with Halloween Mickey and Minnie and with Bubu and Vampirina: seven characters in the grand finale. It is the most complete show in the catalogue, designed for big events. The Great Spell tells the same story with an ending in which Vex and Luna transform in front of the audience, and confetti to close.
Christmas
in December
Santa’s Magic Visit works in the square or at the Christmas market: Santa collects the letters one by one, by hand, every child leaves with a photo and the Elf makes the wait feel shorter; with the North Pole Corner, he also gets a throne, a postbox for the letters and a backdrop for the photos. Magic Visit with a Surprise is the same, except that every so often the Grinch bursts in to cause trouble. In the Royal Magic Visit, Christmas Mickey and Minnie arrive, with Cuca leading games and carols. And in The Christmas Mission it is the whole square, in teams, that rescues the Christmas the Grinch stole, until Santa himself appears.
Fairs and neighbourhood parties
all year round
At a fair nobody stands still, and nobody needs to: with Face Painting & Balloons, every child takes a wristband with their turn and comes back when it is time, without queuing. In December, better with a roof overhead. And for the neighbourhood’s summer party, the Holi Show or the Foam Party: a cannon of colour or of foam, routines and games right in the street.
Inflatables fit in the square too, and they are not the birthday ones: they are other models, in white. If you want them, say so when you ask for the proposal and we will see which ones suit your square.

We turn up 15 to 30 minutes before the start, with the sound kit, its technician and someone to coordinate; we set up, do the show and pack up what is ours.
A squareand two sockets
- A clear space
- A square, a playground or a sports hall. (A 5 × 5 m area clear of obstacles and, indoors, a ceiling of 2.5 m or more.)
- Power for the sound
- Two sockets within 20 m. If the square has none, we run on our own battery.
- For the foam, water and soft ground
- Grass, or ground that keeps the dust down, works best; what the Plus needs, we tell you in the proposal. (For one cannon: 6 × 8 m or more, the hose water no more than 10 m away and three ordinary sockets at the same distance.)
- For face painting, shade or a roof
- Shade in summer and a roof in December.
- Somewhere with a door to change in
- Close to the square: a hall, the community centre, a meeting room.
- A way in
- Somewhere to unload nearby; if the street is closed for the festival, tell us how to get there. (Within 500 m.)
- During the show, just the show
- Nothing else playing in that space while we are on. (Background noise under 70 dB.)
- Someone of yours from start to finish
- From the council or the festival committee, for anything that comes up.
Proper names,no adjectives
In Cunit, a day of face painting and costumed characters alongside the Ajuntament and a dog rescue association. For the Festa Major of Vilanova i la Geltrú, Cuca designed her own face-painting templates from the beasts of the festive bestiary. And we have worked with the town councils of Canyelles and Creixell.

What gets askedin committee
Can you be hired through a minor contract?
Yes. For that file we give you the fixed quote with VAT itemised, the copy of the policy and whatever documents need attaching; and, at the end, the invoice.
Do you ask for a deposit to book?
No. With a town council there is no deposit and no payment on account: everything is paid in one go, with the invoice.
Will you send us the policy for the file?
Yes, as many copies as needed. It is the policy for our public liability insurance, and it goes into the file like any other document.
How many people is each show for?
It depends on the show. With one cannon, the foam is enough for a hundred people; with the Plus and its three, for two hundred. For face painting, each artist paints twelve children an hour: more children, more artists. The Midnight Spell and The Magic Factory are designed for big squares. Who comes and for how many people, we set out in the proposal.
What if it rains or the wind picks up?
Outside, we set up as long as the thermometer reads 5 to 35 °C, the wind stays under 25 km/h and there is no storm within ten kilometres. Beyond those limits, the party moves under cover: a sports hall, a community centre or a marquee. That plan B is agreed when you sign, so it pays to have it in mind from the start.
How far do you go?
We work in the Garraf, the Penedès, the Baix Llobregat, Barcelona and Tarragona. Our base is Vilanova i la Geltrú; travel is charged separately from the show and we tell you before you book.
Which partyis next?
Tell us the date, the place and how many people you expect. In under 24 hours you have the fixed quote for the file, with VAT itemised and, if you ask for it, the copy of the policy.
