What is Face Painting & Balloons?

Face Painting & Balloons is a face painting and balloon corner for events —town festivals, fairs, parent-association parties, schools and carnival—, for children and grown-ups aged 3 to 99, where each artist paints twelve children an hour, with glitter and neon versions, across Garraf, Penedès, Baix Llobregat, Barcelona and Tarragona.

It is the house dressing table taken out into the street. It is set up in a corner of the square, the playground or the fair, and every child gets a little wristband: no queues, and they can carry on playing until it is their turn. The general rule: one artist, twelve children, one hour. Depending on how many of you there are, we will be 1, 2 or more artists.

It comes in glitter and neon versions, and it works for painting carnival troupes, for floats and for school make-up. And on request we create custom designs: for the Festa Major of Vilanova we made face-painting templates based on the beasts of its bestiari, the creatures that parade through the festival, and for Halloween at the Masia Vilanoveta, made-to-measure designs together with the organisers. What happens in Face Painting & Balloons, minute by minute?

0–5 min
The wristbands
We start by giving each child a little wristband, so there are no queues and they can carry on playing. Depending on how many children there are, we will be 1, 2 or more artists.
5–55 min
The dressing table and the balloons
While we paint, Tito makes each of them a balloon figure: a giant unicorn, a motorbike, a princess… whatever they want. In the background, the best music, to match the theme: we have two speakers available.
55–60 min
Packing up
It ends: we pack up and go.

It depends on four things: which option you choose, how many children there are, where it is and what day. That is why every party gets its own quote, made for it.

Where do we set up Face Painting & Balloons?

We set out from Vilanova i la Geltrú and we work across Garraf · Penedès · Baix Llobregat · Barcelona · Tarragona. Travel is calculated from the base and we tell you before you book.

And if it rains that day?

Plan B is agreed when we sign, well in advance. Outdoors we set up between 5 and 35 ºC, with wind under 25 km/h and any storm more than ten kilometres away; if the day falls outside that, the party carries on under cover — a garage, a hall or a big dining room almost always works.
